So They Told You Tarot Was Evil

So you've heard that Tarot Reading is evil and will bring the devil into your life. You've also heard this about the Ouija board, palm reading and pretty much anything outside the norm of this societies version of organized religion. The scary and untrue things you've been taught go on and on. If you haven't heard these things, I'm glad you haven't been tainted, but very surprised.

I was taught from a very young age that things such as Tarot, Ouija and healing modalities such as Healing Touch were evil. I bought into these teachings staying very far away from such things, my feelings were rooted in fear. There came a time when I had fully left behind my roots in organized religion, and become what most would call a Secular Humanist. I was ok with not knowing the truth of the Universe that organized religion gives us, and happy to embrace humanity and kindness as the most important aspect of being alive.

Tarot came into my life when I was ready, and the first time I picked up a deck and began to look through the cards, I was in awe of their imagery and the feelings each of the cards conjured up in my chest. The more I studied, the more I saw how special Tarot was. I found every human emotion, situation and person possible represented in the cards. And when I created Tarot spreads, the stories they told made more sense than I could have imagined. Humanity was my passion, and I couldn't stop studying all there was to know about the Tarot cards, and how they all related to an aspect of real life.

Whether you are a skeptic about the psychic abilities of the cards, or believe they are infused with hidden knowledge and messages, the cards will behave the same way and you can enjoy them for what they mean to you.

Tarot isn't destructive or malicious, it's the farthest thing from it. Tarot is about humanity, and what could be evil about that? Whatever it is you desire; love, financial growth, a more fulfilling career, better relationships with your family, the Tarot can help you see into these issues more clearly. The cards will show you a purposeful path if you are open to it.
